With our extraordinary videography, we bring the sacred places of Christ’s life to youâsharing their beauty, history, and profound meaning. This virtual walk in the footsteps of Jesus enables pilgrims everywhere to experience the blessings of the Holy Land and deepen their faith, regardless of their location in the world.
The Holy Land, spanning Israel and the West Bank, has been revered for centuries by Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike. Yet those who live there face daily hardship and uncertainty.
On October 7, 2023, war once again devastated the region, claiming over 47,000 lives and leaving thousands displaced. In this time of suffering, we invite you to join us in prayerâfor peace, for healing, and for all who endure this struggle.
Many Palestinian Christians, though far from Gaza, still suffer greatly. Their livelihoods rely on pilgrimages and tourism, both of which have come to a standstill. Families who have faithfully served pilgrims for generations are now struggling to make ends meet.

Through Faithful Footsteps, we not only provide believers worldwide with a meaningful way to connect with the land of Christ, but we also support local Christian communities, preserving their heritage and ensuring their faith endures.

For over 20 years, Rami Yatim has guided pilgrims along the sacred paths of the Holy Land. Born in Beit Sahour, the “Village of the Shepherds,” he grew up surrounded by stories of Christ’s birth and ministry. Guiding thousands of visitors has been both his vocation and his passion.

When the pandemic halted travel, Rami partnered with filmmaker Shiraz Alrishmawi to create what became Faithful Footsteps, an Online Catholic faith pilgrimage experience. Together, they sought to capture the essence of Scripture through a Gospel-based Holy Land video journey, ensuring that those unable to travel could still encounter Christ where He once walked.

“My dream has always been to help people experience the ‘Fifth Gospel.’ Through this project, I hope every believer can take part in a virtual walk in the footsteps of Jesus, wherever they may be.”

Born in Bethlehem, Shiraz Alrishmawi has dedicated over 20 years to documentary filmmaking, with a focus on capturing the sacred beauty of the Holy Land. His artistry combines breathtaking visuals with reverence for faith, creating videos that are not just informative but profoundly prayerful.

For decades, Deacon Richard and his wife, Kathy, have led pilgrimages across the Holy Land and Europe, opening countless hearts to the transformative power of walking where Christ lived. Married for over 40 years, they have dedicated their ministry to making pilgrimage accessible to all.

Marie Powers, a retired journalist with over 40 years of experience, brings her love of storytelling to Faithful Footsteps. Alongside her husband, Chuck, she journeyed through the Holy Land, gathering insights that now shape the Pilgrim’s Journalâa collection of reflections that accompany our videos.

To know Rami Yatim’s story is to understand the resilience of a Palestinian Christian living in the West Bank, a life of deep faith, love for Christ, and perseverance despite being walled off from Jerusalem and restricted in his own homeland.
Born and raised in Beit Sahour, the “Village of the Shepherds,” Rami grew up surrounded by sacred history. Just steps from his home, pilgrims gathered at the cave where angels announced the birth of Jesus. These encounters planted in him a passion for sharing the Holy Land’s spiritual and historical depth.
After studying Business Administration at Bethlehem University, Rami discovered his true calling through the tour guide program at Bethlehem Bible College. By 1999, he was one of only 50 Palestinian guides licensed to lead pilgrims in both the West Bank and Israel. Over the next two decades, he guided thousands of visitors, helping them experience the richness of the Gospel through Scripture, history, and tradition.
But hardship was never far. In 2000, war devastated the Holy Land, and tourism collapsed. Rami survived by taking whatever work he could. Slowly, pilgrims returned, and so did his ministry. Then, in 2020, the pandemic struck, and once again, his livelihood disappeared.
Instead of despair, Rami partnered with filmmaker Shiraz Alrishmawi to create Faithful Footsteps. They documented holy sites with stunning videography, ensuring that those unable to travel could still encounter the land of Christ.
Rami explains:
“Pilgrims often can’t remember everything from a week-long trip. They need a resource that captures the history, archaeology, and faith of these sites. That’s why we created this project.”
Today, even as war threatens the possibility of guiding pilgrims in person, Rami remains steadfast in hope:
“I trust in Jesus. He will guide me through this valley. His plan is always greater than ours.”
